The story of The Gardens
The Gardens has been a place of love and community spirit since the 1990s. It was the vision of a charity dedicated to organic gardening methods, which our gardeners still follow over 20 years later. The dedicated team of volunteers planted 12,000 trees and shrubs, transforming 12 acres of fields into the 16 breath taking gardens you see today. The Gardens has welcomed many admirers over the years including King Charles in 1996, who donated the Victorian Greenhouse from his personal collection. Now family-owned, The Gardens launched as a wedding and events venue in 2016 where it has hosted love stories ever since.
